The first one-day spring retreat was held at the Ney Nature Center near Maple Lake, MN in spring of 2006. Several of the students attending used the occasion to present talks that were being prepared for the Midwest SETAC meeting that was held later that spring in St. Cloud, MN under the auspice of the St. Cloud State University Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory.
